PROJECT
DESCRIPTION :
|
The
Town of Spiceland was faced with a failing water treatment
& distribution system. Additionally, they had a
development corridor bounded by a TIF district at I-70
and SR3 approximately 1 mile north of the town. The
Town hired United to review the incomplete Preliminary
Engineering Report (PER) to further scope the project
and to complete the PER. Next, the Town hired United
to design the Phase I portion of the project. The project
included evaluation of the water treatment and distribution
system and design of finish water extensions and a new
300,000-gallon elevated storage tank.
Currently,
United is assisting the Town in the development and
project planning of the Phase II portion of the project.
the Phase II project includes the design of a new 350-gpm
water treatment plant and several finished water extensions.
