To
compliment our full range of Architectural and Engineering Design
services, UNITED’S Planning Division provides comprehensive
Land Use and Transportation Planning services for clients in both
the Public and Private Sectors. In the area of Transportation Planning
we stress to our clients that a well thought out Plan is key to
ensuring maximum results from infrastructure expenditures. This
basic premise holds true for any size expenditure, be it a community
wide Thoroughfare Plan, Capital Improvement Program or a single
Intersection Improvement. For our Private Sector clients, we provide
the services required to complete traffic impact studies, which
are typically associated with the development review process in
many communities. The Land Use Planning component of our Planning
Division assists local, state, and regional governmental agencies
with the development of a wide range of community visioning plans.
Examples include Comprehensive Plans, Neighborhood Plans, Greenways
Plans and/or Zoning Updates. Working together with our Clients to
ensure that their goals and objectives are met, we are committed
to the utilization of accepted professional planning procedures,
principles, and state-of-the-art technological tools for all planning
