The
existing residential subdivisions southwest of the City
of Greenwood had failing private septic systems that presented
health risks. The City of Greenwood elected to provide
municipal sewer service to the existing 78 residences
in the area. The project consisted of approximately 1.6
miles of gravity sewer and appurtenances.
