SCOPE : |
The
project scope includes design of the added travel lanes
from Calumet Avenue to just west of Cline Avenue. The
added travel lanes included the four lanes of traffic
in each direction with continuous auxiliary lanes between
interchanges.
The
design included three interchange modifications: I-80/94
and Calumet Avenue, I-80/94 and Indianapolis Avenue,
and I-80/94 and Kennedy Avenue.
The
design of the replacement bridges: I-80/94 over Northcote
Avenue (Structure No. I-80-2-8472), I-80/94 over Eric-Lackawanna
Trail (Structure No. I-80-2-8471), I-80/94 over Indianapolis
Avenue (Structure No. I-80-2-8470), and I-80/94 over
CSX/IHB Railroad (Structure No. I-80-2-8469).
The
design also included complex signing, ITS, and noise
barriers.
